IgniteLiving.com was a blog I was commissioned to design for the Wordpress platform. After designing it, the client had lost interest in “the whole blogging thing” and said he probably wouldn’t use it afterall.
I had sort of fallen in love with the design, plus I was looking for another blog for myself, so I asked the client if I could have it. He said sure and that was that. IgniteLiving.com is now my blog, and a perfect place for me to talk about things other than design.

CPMedia.com was a fantastically fun project. The client wanted a site “made in Flash, and made very flashy.” He wanted animated transitions, 3D backgrounds, the works. The only problem was up until that time I’d never used Flash and knew nothing of 3D software.
I eventually settled on Cinema 4D for the 3D graphics and spent a weekend doing nothing but tutorials to learn it and Flash. It was rough but when there’s a client who cares a great deal about the results, I figured I better care just as much.
The project was a great success and, though no longer online, garnered a few awards from Flash folks.
