Things a little slow with your website? Not getting many subscribers? Writing a ton of content and seeing no results? Sounds like your website is sick. And I can help you with that.
There is a seemingly endless amount of things you have to get just right to have a successful website. It has to look good and it has to be fast. It has to have an obvious message and appeal to visitors. It has to have proper SEO functionality so you can get all that tasty free traffic from Google.
That is just a tiny list of things that, not set up ideally, could destroy your site’s chances of success. They can botch your marketing plans. They can lead to poorly converting sign-ups and products. And they can, as you’ll see, steal quite a lot of profits right out from underneath you.
If only there were a way to check your entire website for problems. If only there were a website doctor…where you could bring your site and have it checked for any nasty issues.
Well, turn your head and cough, ’cause the doctor is in.
The Website & Conversion Rescue Analysis is exactly what you need. I will tell you all about it below. But in short, it’s an examination of your website from top to bottom, inside and out.
- The way it looks
- The way it works
- Its underlying code
- SEO power
When your site goes through this process, you will know exactly what is holding it back. You’ll know exactly why your visitors aren’t converting, why people aren’t subscribing, and how you’re losing money.
And all doctor joking aside, this is serious business. The success of your website literally depends on what you’re about to learn.
Who am I and why do you care?
Hi, I’m Charlie. I’ve been making money on the interwebs since 1998, and since 2008 it has been sole source of income as a designer, developer and marketer of goods.
Why should you care?
Because if I didn’t know what I was doing, I’d have died of starvation long ago.
I make my living solely on the internet and I can tell you exactly what’s wrong with your site, help you with marketing and help your site convert better. That means more visitors, more subscribers and more revenue.
There is a lot to worry about
Websites can seem like tricky business. You put up your site and expect people to roll on in, but things rarely turn out that way. And it what gets worse. Because what you get instead of traffic is confusion.
You wonder how to solve the problem, but where do you even start? Should you hire an SEO consultant? Maybe you need Google AdWords? Or possibly your logo needs updating. And late at night you wonder if you’re the only person in the world who likes your site.
Well, it’s time to stop this confusion and call in some backup.
If these seem like you, you probably need this service:
- It seems like your site isn’t growing fast enough
- You don’t know what to write about
- You don’t have subscribers
- You don’t know how to “do SEO”
- You stay up late at night, curled up in a blanket in the corner, worrying about your logo and header and other branding issues
- You wonder if your site shows too much personality, or possibly not enough
- You don’t have anyone signing up for your newsletter
- You have no idea what I just said
If you’ve read this far, your site probably needs some fixing
Don’t worry…there’s nothing wrong with you.
But let’s be honest here. If your site isn’t living up to its potential or, more importantly, your potential, there’s something wrong with it.
And that’s okay. Sometimes things get borked and need fixing.
Problem is, altering your website can be troublesome, make things even worse, and be very expensive. Especially if you’re just guessing.
See, the way people normally fix their sites is to Go Fiddlin’.
They fiddle with this, fiddle with that, fiddle with a new design, fiddle with the logo, hire an SEO guy to fiddle with their keywords, hire someone to create ads and fiddle with their sidebar, hire an expensive marketer who fiddles with social media.
The list goes on and often goes on endlessly.
And that’s one of the problems: there appears to be an infinite number of things to fiddle with.
So what do you do? That’s the easy part. You do nothing. And let us figure it out for you.
We’ll put to rest some (meaning all) of those worries you have.
The end result is a safe, secure, productive and effective home base upon which to build your online business.
What’s the end result of the this consultation?
The goal is not to make you rich.
The goal is to make it possible for you to have the foundation in place on which you can become rich. Or at the very very least, have a badass site that works and opens the door to new subscribers, their interest and eventually their dollars.
Our purpose is not – nor should yours be actually – to give you the best and most popular site on the internets. It’s to make sure your site works enough to get popular at all.
The end result is a faster site that works well, grabs visitors and gets them to do what they should be doing.
“In one single day, I got almost the same number of subscribers than I’ve gotten in the last 3 months combined.”
– Rohan Gilkes
Why you need to do this NOW
You know how sometimes your car makes that squeaky sound and you worry about it? But you ignore it because it doesn’t sound that serious? But then it happens again and you realize it’s not going to get better by itself? Then it stops squeaking just sometimes and starts squeaking all the time, and you figure you better do something about it. But you still don’t because, well, it’s been squeaking all this time and nobody’s died yet. It’s probably just a benign squeak. But then one day the squeak somehow turns into a large explosion. And as shrapnel flies off all around you, you think to yourself, “Yeah…probably should have had that checked.”
Well, your website has a bit of a squeak, not to mention a nagging cough and a vicious rash.
And yeah, you should probably have that checked. It’s not going to get better on its own.
Here’s what you get specifically
The end result is for you to know what’s up with your site, what needs to be fixed, and, most importantly, how to go about fixing it.
Here’s the bare minimum of what you’ll get from us. And yes…we reserve the right to add anything we want to this list if we think it’ll help you out:
A full, written PDF Website Health Analysis report.
This isn’t just a one-page report that says, “Fix your site,” or, “Your logo could use some work.”
We are talking an EXTREMELY thorough report about your code, content, functionality, branding, SEO, product shots, ads, etc.
If there’s something broken I will tell you exactly what it is. If there is some piece of code choking up Google, you’ll learn exactly what it is. If there is something slowing down your site, you’ll know exactly what it is.
My very own, one-of-a-kind First-Timer Review of your site.
You’re going to love this. Here’s how it works:
Have you ever wondered what it’s like for a brand new visitor to view your site? Do you wonder if it’s confusing to them? Or if it appears broken or silly looking?
This is something you should be wondering because it’s one of the most important metrics of your site: how does it work for new visitors?
Well, you’re about to find out. Because the first time I ever view your site (unless by some chance I’ve seen it before somehow), I will start up my screencast software and record audio and video of everything I do as I do it.
This is an extremely important part of the process, as it will highlight exactly what newcomers encounter as they visit your site for the first time. Believe me, this is worth it’s weight in dark chocolate.
Why is this amazing? Because according to web usability studies you’ve got somewhere around 3 seconds to make a good impression on your visitors before you lose them. My First-Timer Review of your site will show you exactly what those first 3 seconds are like. And you’ll get to see me do it first hand.
And even after that first inspection is done, I’ll keep the recording software rolling as I make my way around the rest of your site. I’ll test out everything. Everything.
Heck, I’ll even look under the hood and check out the code that runs your site. That we can improve its speed, SEO efficiency and the general wellbeing of your site.
A Speed Analysis of your site.
As I said above, you’ve only got a few short seconds to grab your site visitors.
And not only are your visitors impatient, so is Google nowadays. In fact, the slower your site is, the worse it’s going to do in Google’s listings. Yuck.
So what happens when visitors and Google come to your site and it just sits there churning and loading? Bad things, that’s what.
Believe me, this point cannot be overstated. Google, Shopzilla, Amazon, Mozilla and many many other big companies have put big money into testing how speed impacts conversions. And each found that even as little as 100 milliseconds affects customer happiness and income fairly significantly
Even 100 milliseconds makes a difference.
On top of that, it was determined through testing that internet users perceive page load times to be 15% slower than they actually are. And when reporting that speed to their friends will report the speed as 35% slower than it was in reality.
What’s that mean? It means if your site is just a little bit slow, your visitors think it’s dog slow. And they tell their friends it’s even worse than that!
A How-to-Fix-It Report.
While it’s one thing to have the data, analysis and observations about what it is wrong and right about your site, it’s entirely different from knowing what to do about it all.
Well, you’re in luck. I’m not just going to give you a bunch of information, throw you out of the nest and hope you flap your wings.
I’m going to tell you, in relation to each and every trouble-spot of the overall analysis, what to do to fix each and every problem.
Some of it will probably be techy, yes, but that’s a good thing. It is a website after all. And like it or not, your site is affected by some technical factors and is built on a base of code. In any case, I’ll provide instructions or recommendations on how to take care of that techy stuff.
“Conversion rate has tripled!”
“My conversion rate has tripled since my redesign!”
– Jason Fitzgerald
This sounds really expensive.
It isn’t, but let’s talk about what is very expensive. Not doing this.
We recently uncovered, on a virtually brand new site, more than $1000 of revenue that was being tossed out into the wind. Here’s how it went down, and note that this is exactly the kind of thing this consultation was built for:
A client was selling a product that was converting at around .5%. That’s just half a percent. Every month, roughly 200 people visited the site and made it to the sales page. Out of those 200 people, one would buy the course.
So an average of one course was sold each much. Now, $200 bucks a month isn’t terrible, but it’s not great either…nor is a conversion of only half of one percent. And moreover, the client basically owned the niche, and was one of the first guys to sell a much-needed product. It should have been flying off his virtual shelves.
So we went though this overhaul, I made some recommendations and put the site through some changes. The results?
The sales page itself immediately started getting less traffic at around 175 visits per month. (Yeah, I said less traffic…but more on that in a second).
The sales page began to convert at 3-4% instead of .5%. So instead of 1 sale a month, the site now does 5-7. Or $1000-$1400 of revenue. This service paid for itself nearly three times over in the very first month.
Now, I mentioned the sales page started getting less traffic and how that’s a good thing. Sounds weird, but we call it…
The Less-Traffic-Better-Traffic Rule.
In a nutshell, it means you get fewer visitors who don’t matter. These are casual surfers who don’t care about your wares, who end up on your site on accident, and who are just doing what I call curiosity-clicking. “Ooh, look, a pretty picture!” *click click*
Instead of your sales page being bombarded with these untargeted happy-clickers, you instead get more visitors who are highly-targeted and care deeply about what you sell. These are your true customers.
The overall result is the magical place where less traffic can actually make you more money.
And that’s exactly what happened in the case study above…to the tune of 700% increase in profits.
You don’t want ALL internet traffic. You just want the traffic that counts.
And that traffic has to be able to use your site easily. Even “stupid little things” like weird calls-to-action or navigation buttons that don’t make sense…it all matters.
“Increased the pages-per-visit by about 25%!”
“The menu bar is rockin’ it! It has almost added a minute to the average time people spend on the site and has increased the pages-per-visit by about 25%. :D!!!”
And what if you don’t do this check-up?
Well as the case study above illustrates, you might be throwing away thousands of dollars of revenue. Or a lot of traffic. Or just living with the confusion about why it’s so hard to make it on the internet.
And on top of that you’re going to go on wondering what’s the matter with your site. You might be lead to believe you need new branding. That could cost you between $250 and $1000 or more and might not solve any issues.
You might instead think you need a full redesign and hire a designer. That’ll cost you anywhere between $1500 and $5000+ for a good one. Of course that might not solve any issues either.
Or maybe you’ll decide you need to hire an SEO guy, which could also run into the thousands of dollars. But maybe SEO isn’t even the problem.
Or maybe you need a writing coach, or…or…or…
Guessing at the problem like this and trying to fix it is backwards. Like a doctor who tries to treat you for something you don’t even have. Get a proper diagnosis first and you’ll be in way better shape.
You’ve spent money on your site already. And possibly you’re hesitant to put more money into it until you start seeing results.
Well, we’re gonna get you those results or you’re not going to spend a dime.
That’s right. If you don’t like the check-up your site gets, if it doesn’t turn your site around, if you’re not completely satisfied with the strengths and weaknesses we uncover, and if you just simply don’t think it’s going to help you whatsoever, you get your money back. All of it.
There is absolutely no risk to you.
All right, I’m in! How much?
