Launch Your Book the Right Way
Your manuscript deserves better than sitting unfinished in a drawer, taking up space on a hard-drive, or being lost in the Amazon abyss.
From “someday” to “on sale” in 30 days
You didn’t start writing your book just to abandon it halfway through. Or even worse, finish it just to see it sink into obscurity on Amazon alongside millions of other forgotten dreams.
But let’s be honest…
The journey from manuscript to successfully published book is an absolute minefield of hurdles:
- Technical headaches
- Typesetting & layout issues
- Marketing mysteries
- Design challenges
- List goes on…
These are all issues that most authors aren’t equipped to navigate alone. (And frankly these are things most of us authors never signed up for.)
Is it really that bad?
Well…kinda yeah. I’m not trying to upset anyone (and there is good news coming up so stick with me) but most of the clients I’ve worked with have come to me out of sheer frustration and/or overwhelm.
They’ve finished their book. They’ve got a Word or Google Doc and it’s a “finished book”. But then they start to realize everything they still have yet to do:
- Decide if it’s gonna be a print book? Kindle? Both?
- How do you turn a Word or Google Doc into something attractive enough for publication?
- How do you actually create a Kindle book?
- You need a book cover that’ll catch eyeballs on Amazon’s storefront.
- What sort of marketing strategies come into play?
- How do you get customers and what do with them once they’ve purchased?
- Does your book tie into your business’s services or products? If so, how do you steer that relationship?
- What about using proper keywords, descriptions, and search tactics so your book can be found on Amazon?
These are just a few of the things that are part of every book launch. If you don’t know how to do all of that, you’ll need to find some help.
Unfortunately, the options are fairly limited…
- One option is to figure it all out yourself. Which you definitely could. It is figure-out-able. But that takes a lot of time and it can be frustrating. And let's face it, most authors would rather be writing (or enjoying the fruits of their published works).
- Another option is to hire it out. Find a typesetter. Then find a designer. Then find someone who knows about Amazon listings. Then find a Kindle programmer. That works too, but now you're deep in the woods of hiring and project managment...
- The third option is even worse...
Wait…the typical publishing “solution” costs HOW much?!
You might want to take a seat before you read the next bit.
Sitting down? Good…here goes.
If you haven’t spent much time researching the book publishing industry (which I now call “Big Publishing”) you may not have seen that it can get just a touch expensive.
The popular book-launch services out there charge thousands upon thousands of dollars.
In fact, one of them charges $50,000. Yes, that’s FIFTY THOUSAND DOLLARS. Not a typo.
And that’s not just the price for established authors like JK Rowling and Stephen King.
That’s the price even for first-time indie authors.
Good news is there’s one other option I haven’t told you about… (and it ain’t no $50,000).
What if you had a secret weapon?
Imagine having a seasoned guide who knows every twist and turn of the publishing landscape.
Someone who can transform your manuscript into a professionally packaged book that actually sells.
Someone who’s not only a fellow author but also happens to be a book designer and tech-nerd by day.
Well…that’s me in a nutshell.
And this complete system will take you from where you are now to published author.
Here’s what happens when we work together:
- We’ll Get That Book FINISHED — No more procrastination or writer’s block. I’ll help you cross the finish line with accountability systems and proven writing frameworks.
- Your Book Will Look Ridiculously Good — Professional interior formatting for both print and digital versions. Plus a cover design that makes readers want to snatch it up right now.
- Amazon Might Actually Show Your Book to People — I’ll help you craft your Amazon listing. Not just so it sounds good to humans either. Because your title, subtitle, and description also need to be engineered for Amazon’s search function.
- The Infrastructure to Build a Reader Army — The eternal problem in the Age of Amazon is: How do you build your own customer list? If Amazon – for whatever whim or reason – doesn’t bless you with exposure, what do you do? That’s why we’ll set you up with a way to capture customer emails so you can stop being at Amazon’s mercy for reaching your audience.
- You’ll Develop a Real Author Business — Learn strategies for creating multiple income streams through connected books, teasers, epilogues, and other content that keeps readers coming back for more.
Introducing...
A complete book publishing system for...
Here's what you get!
Drool-worthy book cover
Book covers are not just about slick design.
They’re about communicating the right design, with the right message, to the readers who matter most to you. And that’s true for fiction and non-fiction alike.
So before I even think about grabbing a pencil, I’ll work with you to nail down your target audience. Then I’ll create your new book cover (including the back and spine when appropriate).

Print-on-demand file
Want to see your book in print? Hold it in your actual hands?
I’ve got you covered. You send me your final Word or Google Doc. Then decide on some final options (print size, paperback, hardback, etc.). Then I’ll make your book look like a thousand bucks.
Once that file is uploaded to Amazon…congrats! Your book is now available for print-on-demand!

Files for all e-readers and book apps
Your book will work (and look good) on all the most popular devices and apps.
You’ll get files that work on e-readers such as: Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Onyx Boox, ReMarkable, and many others…
iPhone, Tablet, and Android apps such as: Kindle, Apple Books, Google Play Books, Moon+, eboox, FBReader, etc.

A working business strategy built specifically for authors
As amazing as Amazon is…we can’t rely on it for our marketing.
We’ll help you get seen in the first place. But even better, we’ll make sure every customer becomes your direct customer (not just Amazon’s). This will grow your customer list, lead to repeat sales, and grow your business.

Frequently Asked Questions
If other places charge multiple thousands, why don't you?
First, I’m an author myself and I know what it’s like for us. Publishing is now regarded as the modern-day Gold Rush. Which is fair. There’s a lot of money to be made with writing these days.
The problem is agencies are trying to cash in on this with astronomical prices and I ain’t playin’.
Secondly, I’ve been running a book design business since 2007. I was one of the first people creating downloadable PDFs. Then one of the first guys helping authors get their print books on Amazon. Later I was one of the first guys creating Kindle books.
I’ve designed and typeset hundreds of books. Created dozens and dozens of Kindle books. I can confidently say that you’ve probably seen my work out there but didn’t know it.
Bottom line: I’m a nerd. I know the tricks of the trade and I can get the job done quickly and efficiently.
That said, this service as a bundled process is new. I’m still working out some kinks and the price reflects that. The cost will definitely be going up before too long.
Have you done this before?
Sure have. In face, between 2007 and 2016 or so…it’s almost I did.
I’ve helped hundreds and hundreds (literally) of authors finish, design, and launch their books.
What if I don't want to launch on Amazon?
That’s totally fine. As part of this service you’ll get all the files you need to launch anywhere you want.
Some of my clients launched books ONLY on their personal websites and nowhere else.
Some clients launched ONLY on Amazon.
Some launched only on Apple Books.
Some launched everywhere.
That’s the great part of this service. You’ll have exactly what you need to launch wherever you want to.
Shouldn't I just hire an agency?
You definitely can. Some agencies do a great job. The only problem is at what cost?
There are two common scenarios my clients tell me about with agencies:
One is the typical big agency which runs with insane amounts of overhead. They’ve got salespeople, designers, a Kindle guy, a typesetter, a personal liaison, offices to pay for, meetings, etc.
That size of team comes with a whooole lot of added overhead and time. That’s not something everyone is comfortable with.
Another scenario is one where you’ll be working with someone who operates at a massive discount. To make up for the low price, that provider has to work with more people than he can comfortably handle. Corners get cut, mistakes are made, timelines shift, etc.
All that said, I encourage you to look around. The important thing is that you get your book out there, so if you find a way that will work for you, great! Jump on it. If not, come back and see me. I’ll be here if you need me.
What if my customers don't have a Kindle?
Great question.
The files you receive will work perfectly on the most popular e-reader devices: Kindle, Nook, Kobo, Onyx Boox, etc. But that’s not all.
You’ll also get files that work with phone apps. Such as the free Kindle App (which works on iPhones and Androids), Apple Books, Google Play Books, Moon+, eboox, FBReader, etc.
And of course for customers who want to hold an actual book in their hands, you’ll also get a file which Amazon will turn into print-on-demand books.
And lastly, you’ll also have a file which you could offer as a download from your website. Customers would be able to read that on their desktop computer or laptop.
So don’t worry… all the bases are covered!
