SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. That means preparing your site so that Google (and other search engines) can recognize what your site is about and then rank it properly.
Should I just hire an SEO agency?
You definitely can but I wouldn’t recommend it just yet. The way big SEO agencies work is like this:
- They’ll charge you thousands of dollars
- They’ll recommend some changes
- Then you wait a month or three to see if results improve, all the while paying their retainer fee
