But it can be time consuming. And it will distract you from actually running your business. This is where I come in.

I take care of the behind-the-scenes work that keeps your website running smoothly—regular updates, security checks, backups that actually work when you need them, and all those technical tasks that pull you away from what you do best.

Think of me as your website’s personal mechanic. While you’re focusing on growing your business, I’m making sure your online presence stays fast, secure, and problem-free.

How much does it cost?

To set the stage real quick…

If you’ve ever looked into web maintenance plans, you know it’s become a bit of a racket. It’s not at all unusual for agencies to charge multiple hundreds or even thousands of dollars a month. Literally just to click a couple buttons every few weeks.

Some clients need that but most do not. So my pricing depends entirely on what you need, when you need it, and how often.

No cookie-cutter packages or one-size-fits-all pricing. I’ll actually listen to what you need, figure out the right maintenance plan for your specific situation, and charge accordingly.

  • If you need scheduled help every week or three, great!
  • If you just need someone to help with à la carte stuff every now and again, also great!
  • Or if you just get a wild hair and want to try something new and fun, we can try that too.

No reason to pay for what you don’t need, right?

What’s included in “maintenance”?

This is really for the small (but really important) stuff that site owners like you often need from time to time.

Things like:

Technical stuff (the lifeblood of your site):

  • Your site's base code needs an update (ie. new WordPress rolls out)
  • Plugins need to be updated or replaced (this keeps things running fast & keeps hackers out)
  • Bugs and vulnerabilities need squashing
  • Your site's running slowly and you don't know why
  • And of course the all-important backups (ensuring you won't "lose everything" and never get it back)

Little tweaks & visual updates:

  • You decide you really don't like that one weird font you liked a few months ago
  • You're launching a new thing and need a new page put up quickly
  • You've got new stuff to display (testimonials, portfolio items, images, etc.)
  • And a million-and-one other things you'd like to tweak

How’s it work?

For things that ought to be on a schedule (updates, backups, etc.) we’ll figure out timing that works for you and keeps your site updated & secure. I’ll perform all of those on schedule and report to you when it’s finished.

For the one-off stuff (tweaks, new additions, “hey let’s try this…”), you can either email me or use our handy online portal. Simply tell me what you need, I’ll give you an estimate, and then I’ll start on it. Usually within 24 hours.

One way or another, you’ll get all the support you need.
